On April 27, 2008, Father Post, third from right, celebrated his Golden Anniversary of service to the Church: 1957-1982 as a Christian Brother and 1982-2007 as a Diocesan Priest. The entire Parish Community of Saint Thomas More was invited to participate at 11:30 am Mass, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. |

Fr. Bob feels fortunate to be serving at St. Thomas More Church, now for the second time. From 1984 to 1987, he served as Resident Priest while also serving as the Spiritual Director of Stamford Catholic High School. At that time his service was limited to weekend Masses. In December 1999 Fr. Bob was reassigned to St. Thomas More Church in the role of Parochial Vicar. In this position, he assists the Pastor and ‘umbrellas' all functions of the Parish. Fr. Bob is also Chairperson of the Adult Education Committee and is involved in many parish organizations. He provides an important presence in the Faith Formation Program including Youth Ministry. Fr. Bob considers it a pleasure to serve the people of St. Thomas More Church.
