Having recently moved back to CT after years as a “New Yorker”, Terry is delighted to be at St. Thomas More where her sister’s family (Susan & Bruce Orr, Kak, BG, Andrew & Charlie) have been long-time parishioners. While in NYC, Terry was a ‘ringer’ (church choir section leader) almost every Sunday for years. In addition to ringer positions, she is equally at home performing in concert, opera or musical theatre. She has sung such roles as Musetta (La Boheme), Micaela (Carmen) and Violetta (La Traviata) at companies that include Michigan Opera Theatre, Dayton Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, The Berkshire Opera, Opera Francais of New York, Opera Theatre Company of Ireland, and Teatro Lirico of Spoleto, Italy. Among her music theatre credits, Terry played the role of Carlotta in the Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera over 100 times. Her solo concert program, "With Love From Broadway" has played to rave reviews. With the New England division of The American Cancer Society, Terry helped raise over $4.5 Million as Music Director of “Broadway on Beachside”, a benefit concert for breast cancer research. She can be heard singing the national anthem for the nationally ranked basketball teams of her alma mater, The University of Connecticut, and is mentioned as one of several "home-grown" Broadway talents in a book by Woody Klein, "Westport, CT", with a forward by Joanne Woodward.
