Anna Marie D'Ambrosio, soprano, began singing in churches as a teenager, beginning at her home parish of Sacred Heart Church in Stamford and later at St. Andrew's Episcopal in Stamford. After attending Western Connecticut State University, studying with Francine Falkon, she received her B.S. in Music Education. She has attended the Aspen Music School, Goldovsky Opera Workshops, has studied in Siena, Italy, and Munich, Germany, and was a student of Martin Lies in New York City. Anna Marie has been a Cantor at Saint Thomas More Church since 1992. Highly sought after as a soprano soloist, especially for Oratorio, she has performed extensively throughout the tri-state area. On Saturdays, she is the Cantor for the 4:00 pm and 5:15 pm Vigil Masses at St. Thomas More Church and on Sundays she is the Soprano Soloist & Section Leader at St. John's Episcopal Church in Stamford, after having been at Noroton Presbyterian for several years. She works part-time as the Secretary at the Darien United Methodist Church and teaches voice and piano privately at her home in Norwalk.
