The Parish of St. Thomas More and the Diocese of Bridgeport are supported financially by contributions from parishioners. All are encouraged to contribute according to their means. Collections are taken at Masses on Saturdays and Sundays. Envelopes are mailed to parishioners in advance. Parishioners receive a statement of contributions each year for tax purposes. In line with a policy of the Diocese of Bridgeport, the Finance Council is a consultative body of lay persons appointed by the Pastor J. Barry Furey to advise him in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish. |
