Contributing

The Parish of St. Thomas More and the Diocese of Bridgeport are supported financially by contributions from parishioners. All are encouraged to contribute according to their means. Collections are taken at Masses on Saturdays and Sundays. Envelopes for this purpose are sent to parishioners annually. Parishioners receive a statement of contrubutions each year for tax purposes.

St. Thomas More Parish has a Finance Council. In line with a policy of the Diocese of Bridgeport, the Finance Council is a consultative body of lay persons appointed by the Pastor J. Barry Furey to advise him in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish.
