Phone: 655-3303 x18 Deacon Roland Blier is married to Priscilla and has three children. He was ordained a deacon by the late Bishop Walter W. Curtis on February 25, 1978. A retired veteran, he worked for Sikorsky Aircraft in the Supportabiltiy Division. Deacon Blier served as Deacon Program Director and in ministry at St. Andrew Parish and is currently President of the Diocese Deacon Council. On July 1, 2004, he was assigned to St. Thomas More Parish where he serves as Business Manager and as Coordinator and Trainer of Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, and Readers. He performs other Diaconal Ministries such as Adult Education, Baptisms, preaching, hospital visitation, and services for the deceased. He assists at the liturgy and performs other tasks assigned by the Pastor. |
