Be MORE Informed

Be MORE Informed is a parish committee whose goal is to offer opportunities for adults in our parish and the community to enrich their spiritual lives. The committee strives to meet this goal with a Book Group and a Lecture Series.

• Reading Room. The BMI Committee is opening an Adult Reading Room on the second floor of the Education Center at STM the beginning of October 2010. Please donate your religious books (faith, saints, spirituality, history, doctrine) that are in good condition by dropping them off at the Reading Room. We hope you will visit the room and check out a book or just sit a while and read.
  
  
• Book Group. The Book Group meets every other Wednesday in the Rectory Annex at 9:30 am. See the Schedule. For Fall 2010, starting September 15, we are reading Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen. We welcome you and are happy to answer any questions you may have. • Lecture Series. Sr. Maureen Sullivan is returning on November 18, at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall.
  
  
• BMI Recommends. The BMI Committee recommends Searching for Vatican II, Why a Transformative Moment Remains So Elusive. Tuesday, September 14, 2010, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
